The LOUISIANA SHAKERS have now toured Europe nine times in the years 1997 to 2004. The tours have ranged in length from 6 weeks to over 4 months in 2001 and have seen The Shakers share the bandstand with some of the world's biggest names in jazz and roots music at some of the world's most famous festivals and clubs. The band's popularity is
confirmed by the large number of repeat bookings. Particularly notable are the The Shakers'
six appearances at the prestigious Sildajazz
Festival in Haugesund, Norway and multiple bookings at many clubs such as the Casa Bar in
